We have waited another 4 years for this day, but it is finally here.
It's the 29th of February! Congrats to all the leap year baby's. I've always wondered if it is annoying to be born on the leap day? Most people still celebrate their birthdays every year, some on the 28th of February and some on the 1st of March, but is there a difference in celebrating it on your actual birthday?
I don't know anybody who was born on leap day, so I think that will stay a unanswered question.
Did you know that if you were born in the U.S.A on leap day that your legal birthday is on the 28th of February? That means that you are allowed to drink legally one day before your original birthday. Unless, it's a leap year.
In England and Wales your legal birthday is the 1st of March, that means you need to wait an extra day to drink. Sorry.
Love, Crysta.
