Last week wasn't that spectacular. I was doing algebra everyday from 08.15 AM until we left to go home. It cost a lot of energy, but it is worth it. How higher I score on the test how better. Mom has been a really good help for me. My old math teachers should have her as an example. She doesn't accept the minimum. If she see's you are able to do just a little bit better she will push you to do better. Even though I wish I could do more fun stuff than studying I know that if I work my ass of now I don't have to do that after college.
I went driving again with my dad last week. I went on the road. No parking-lot, no save neighborhood, but the road. Yes I almost peed on myself, haha. My dad tells me I did a good job, only changing lanes is a challenge for me. He told me I needed to change lane,s my reaction: What is wrong with this lane? This lane is fine! It will also bring me somewhere, probably even somewhere better than the other lane will.
So I changed to the other lane and that was the scariest thing I've done so far. He is going to take me for a drive again tonight.
The plan was that I would go to LA this weekend with Baba (my grandmother). She had come down to San Diego, because last Friday it was grandparents day at Joshua's school. The plans were changed. My uncle who lives up north in California is in San Diego for business, so Baba stayed over another night on Saturday. It was fun seeing her again, but I was hoping to get out of the house for just one night to see my cousin and Francisco. My uncle and his business friend came over for dinner on Saturday, we had take out by sammies. Pizza, crab salad, bread-things and my favorite: MACARONS!
Now the plan is to go up to LA over 2 weeks when it is Presidents day, because that means we have a three day weekend! I will be going with mom, dad and Joshua, but I will be fun. The plan is to go to Hollywood, farmers market and other tourist stuff that I had always wanted to see. Haha.
Daddy was gone again this weekend. It is weird, because I'm use to not seeing him for a long time, but when he is gone I'm always so happy when he comes back. I even curl up against him on the couch. With the consequence that Roux will start pushing me away, because she still thinks I'm an intruder who is only good for feeding her popcorn.
It was really nice to talk to mama, papa, Aris and the twins again this weekend. I finally saw Tijme walk! It made me really happy, it made me even more happy when papa finally send me the pictures I had been waiting for the last month. Of course I had a Skype moment with Kim, even Daan joined us after an hour. I think we had been calling over 2 hours. Also I spoke to Leonoor on the Skype, she really needs to find a place in her house where we are able to hear and see each other without any problems, but it was really nice talking to her :).
I just love the internet. I have no idea where I would be at this moment without it. I E-mail everyday with my girls, I talk to them face to face on the Skype, I can keep everybody up to date with Facebook and Blogspot. I just love it! Haha.
The only thing that has been hard on me that Jordi hasn't been answering any of my E-mails. He did answer on my post on Facebook, but still. I just worry about him and if my girls are reading this at the moment they would call me an idiot or want to punch me and slap him.. in his face.. with a chair. I know I am, because he is an ass. There is no debate possible about that. Besides that nothing is really bothering me, I'm still getting use to everything here, but I'm still not planning to run back.
Now I think is time to make myself some pasta for lunch, because I'm hungry as always.
I also think I will enjoy the sun today during my lunch, I really need to work on my tan. Well I'm not as white as snow anymore! Jeej :)
