Well my first and official 'school week' is over. It was an interesting week. It started on Tuesday, we went for a walk near the school with the teachers. The area was beautiful, there I met Brianne she is the daughter of one of the teachers. While the teaching-partners were taking a walk we sat and had a chat about who we were and I of course had a lot of questions about what teenagers our age do for fun, because we are not allowed to go out to bars yet and I did not believe that the mall was the only fun activity. So after that we went to the school. It is not as I thought it would look like, there is no inside cafeteria it is all open. The reason for that will be that the weather is so beautiful that the kids have no reason to stay inside. I am serious, it has been sunny for the whole week no clouds or rain at all! That is sure new for me, because normally I would snuggle by the heater around this time a year.
I left my bag in the classroom, because there was a meeting to go to. When mom and I came back a squirrel had eaten a hole in my bag and a part of my wallet to get to my lunch. We had forgotten to close the door. At that time it wasn't so funny, but looking back it is hilarious.
On Wednesday I met the class, they are nice but with so many. 44 kids! And they are all around the age 12, but some of them behave better then my classmates back in the Netherlands. Sorry.
So I have been doing math, history, a little bit of science and English, surprisingly it is going very good. I still do not like math, but as long as I understand it I am fine doing it.
Besides school I haven't done much last week, not even this weekend. I was so tired! But that could've been because my allergy pills make me tired. When I heard what my friends back in the Netherlands did this weekend I really wished I could've been there. Especially when I saw the pictures on Facebook.
I also spoke to Jordi this weekend. For the people who have no idea who that is, that is my best friend. He moved to Curacao in September to work there for a half year, but he is coming back this month. Not that it matters, because I'm not living in the Netherlands anymore. So I spoke to Jordi.. Well I yelled at him and he listened. When he left we weren't really on good terms with each other, but I think he got the message this time now, at least I hope so because I miss him a lot.
OH! and I have quit smoking, but now I have started an addiction for gum. Good thing they have sugar free gum :D Hihi
Well that was my week I will try to post some pictures.
Love, Crysta.
