College has started! After studying my ass off for eight months, for college. The day finally came. The 20th of August I had my first day of the ultimate college experience. I can tell you; it is not that interesting as you see in the movies. At least not at a jr. college, maybe at the university, but I have to wait another 2 years to experience that. For now I'll enjoy my time at the San Diego Mesa College.
Let's get down to business. Haha. I am taking 3 courses with a total of 12 units (hours p. week).
Ik have class from Monday-Thursday, so I have a long weekend to work on the great assignments mij proffesors give me. I take the following courses: Math, Accounting and Physical Geography. Math is still not my favorite subject, but we all need it. I had my first test last monday. I think it went good, but I'm scared that if I say that I will fail it. So I will try to remember to tell you by Tuesday/Wednesday. On Wednesday we have test number two for math. Rest is a gift that we have to cherish. Haha. Accounting is really interesting. The proffesor is great at explaining the topics, which makes me happy. Physical Geography is in my opinion boring subject. The proffesor makes it sounds really interesting though. He himself did research on all kind of stuff that involves physical geography. It is really cool and interesting to listen to his stories.
I have met a couple of people, who some are becoming friends. In the beginning I was really nervous to say anything since I was afraid I would say something that wouldn't make any sense. When I finally opened my mouth they heard my accent and when I told them I use to live in the Netherlands they understood. So I was nervous for no reason. As always.
If you want to know more or have questions just leave a comment and I will come back to you.
Love, Crysta
