I haven't posted that much lately. That is because it's been really relaxed these last couple of weeks.
Yes, there have been things going on. I've been on a family vacation a couple of weeks ago, I took my placement tests for school and Aris is here. In this post I'll be chatting about the family vacation that we spend on Pawley's Island. Don't worry I promise I'll post about the other two this week.
This was a trip to remember. I went with my parents, Joshua, Popo, Nene, aunt Angie (moms sister), uncle Leslie, Sarah(cousin), Matthew(cousin) and Michael(cousin). Popo and Nene had rented this amazing beach house. It was literally on the beach as in walk down the stairs and you were standing in the sand. We went swimming, fishing, we relaxed, boogieboarding ans shopping. It was such a relaxing vacation.
I hadn't seen my aunt, uncle and Sarah in 10 years. Sarah was only a baby when I met her. Now she's around the same age that I was when I met her. I had never seen Matthew and Michael so I really enjoyed getting to know them and hanging out with them on the deck. We went shelling on the beach to find memories. I will explain that. See Nene wanted to fill up this glass vase with shells, but not normal shells no 'memory' shells. I have to tell you though, the vase turned out beautiful.
So on one side of the house you had the ocean. We had a deck on that side where we could enjoy the sounds of the waves and the sun. The ocean had the temperture of bath water, it was so nice. I did get wiped out once by a wave. That was not so amusing though. When I came out my lip was bleeding as was my nose and everything hurt. What I learned from this? Don't take a wave half, go for it or not. Hahaha.
Also a plus was that we had very cute guys walking by every once in a while. Most of them had girlfriends, but it doesn't hurt to look. We also had a deck on the front of the house that overlooked the waters where we fished. It has a name, but I honestly don't remember what it is. Sadly I didn't catch any fish. I tried to be patient, but after day three I gave up. We did catch a lot of blue crab, what was really cool. My dad had bought nets to catch them and we hooked nasty chicken legs on a rope to fight them. They will run after the chickenleg to eat it, you have to get the crab in the net. It isn't that easy as it sounds though. They can be really smart.
The back of the house and it's few.
We went shopping, of course. We went to a little shopping area in the town. There were all these small boutiques. So cute. Aunt Angie bought me this great long beach dress. I'll make sure to take a picture of it soon. We also went to the Myrtle beach shopping area. It was a little drive, but I love sitting in a car and just looking out of the window. I think I saw an alligator, but it could also have been a statue. We didn't take the same route back, so I'll never know. We went to a Chinese restaurant there. Over all I don't enjoy Chinese food, but what I ordered (I don't remember what it was), was so amazing! I took the leftovers home, but Popo ate it. He did tell me it was a great dish, hahaha.
I did miss having Aris there. Hopefully next year!
So when the trip was over Joshua and I stayed another week at Nene's and Popo's. We celebrated the 4th of July on the countryclub. I just love that place. You can golf, eat, swim the people are nice and most of the life guards are really hot. I would be totally fine with them giving me mouth-to-mouth, hahaha.
Like I said in the beginning: This was a trip to remember.
Love, Crysta.
