Two months in college and only one post about it. This is getting bad. I'm not going to talk about everything that has happened the last two months. That will take a while and I'm just too damn lazy.
First I want to say Happy Birthday to my girl Jessica. She turned 19 years old today! Sweety, I miss you and I love you. I hope you have a wonderful day and I can't wait to hear all about it :).
Now down to business. I've been going to school for about two months now. We're five math tests, one geography test and one accounting test further. I did fail my accounting test *aahw*, but I'll fix that.
I did pass all my other tests, yes you are reading this correct: I've been passing my math tests! Studying hard on a daily basis does pay off. Let's hope I will keep it up.
I know not all of you want to read about how I'm doing in school, but also what I've been doing besides that. I can tell you it hasen't been that crazy (yet). I've been going out on some weekends, but it's not the same as in the Netherlands. First of all I have the same curvue I had at the age of... 14? 15? So that is a shocker. It does help me getting out of bed the next morning and being able to function, so there are upsides. Besides that it is weird here to go out to about 5 in the morning. They start the party early here so they end early. I haven't been drinking either, however I've played beerpong. I was pretty good. The friend who I was with and I made a great team. No it was not beginners luck, I won't believe that. Haha.
This type of "going out" has shown me that you are capable of having fun without drinking, drugs or a late curvue. The most fun I've had on those nights were on the way getting to the party. My windows that weren't doing what I wanted them to do, an accidental spill of pink lemonade, my closet in the back of my car and my GPS that has the same feeling of directions as a cow. I really hope I can bring this type of enjoyment and fun back with me when I come and visit my friends and family during Christmas.
No I don't know the dates yet, I'll let you know. After I've let all my girls know.
I'm cracking my skull now to think about something to chat about... Hmm the guys on campus without shirt? Not a disturbing factor. The guy in my geography class who doesn't wear shoes? Weird, but apparently common. The idea of coming in pyjamas to school? I have no words for it. How it's been way too hot here in San Diego? I think I'm going to melt pretty soon. How it is true that there are some hotties on the football team? OMG, I found my future husband. haha. No I can't think of anything.
I hope to be writing more, but if not.. O well. I think once I get my laptop I'll post some more.
Love, Crysta
