Missed me?
Sorry for the silence. I have a really good reason though. Besides that I've been really busy with work and schoolwork. I haven't been on the computer for this last month and I hate creating a new post on my iPad and I've just been really lazy lately.
Let's start with that I turned 19 last month. I celebrated my birthday earlier though. Daddy was out of town allmost the whole month of May. We went to the Corvette Diner to celebrate it. We sat in a glow in the dark room and my birthday cake was cotton candy, blue cotton candy to be correct. I got some awesome stuff for my birthday and even some friends and my family send stuff from the Netherlands what I thought was awesmome. Tjeerd send me a cute necklace and a terrible card, but it was funny. Kim send me the best card ever! A while ago she took a picture of our guy friends while they were topless. She made that picture into my birthday card. I can go on, but it is kind off boring. Not the stuff, I love everything I got don't get me wrong. I just personally think it's boring to sum-up the stuff I got.
Moving on. OH! I won't be attending school this summer. I know it's all really complicated. The school mom and I found to go to decided not to give a summer session either. So I won't be attending school untill August. My plans this summer? I'm going to South Carolina for 2.5 weeks. Aris is coming in July and is staying 7 weeks, if I'm correct. My aunt and cousin from Texas will be in LA at the beginning of August and I have a lot of homework to do. So I have a full, but exciting summer ahead of me.
By the way, I totally forgot to tell you. I passed my driving test in April. I totally forgot to post that. I only had a couple minor mistakes, but I thought I did great! I even was a witness by an accident while driving. Some dude was impatient and stepped on the gas and bumped in to teh guy infront of him. Nothing huge, but still I didn't freak out I kept listening to the instructer and as you know that is a challenge for me.
So I'm driving aroun now and I can tell you: I don't like it. Everyone says I'm a great driver and I have no problems with driving, but it's so boring. I really miss being able to bike everywhere or taking the train, trolley and bus.
Work is going great. Only three days to go and it's vacation! Today I went with the six graders on a field trip to Soak City. It was awesome! I didn't went on any of the slides, because I hate them. I did go in the lazy lake and got a tan. My parents are right: If you put on suncreen every once in a while you get a beautiful tan and no sunburn. Even my legs are tanned now!
Tomorrow I'll be going on the third grade field trip. We're going to a indoor climbing area. That is going to be really cool, because the third grade teacher Alexis does actual rock climbing. I'm going to try to keep up with her. Wish me good luck!
I'm trying to think of something else to talk about, but I think I discussed most of it.
Since I'm going to have vacation starting on Saturday I'll post as much as I can.
