Being a teacher

Dear friends, I know I've been out of it lately. School and work needed a lot of my attention. I'm accutually working at this moment. The kids are taking their startest. We know it as the cito-test in the Netherlands. It feels funny sitting on the other side of the desk. Telling the kids to be quiet and take the time, I even have to answer the silly question as: do I really have to do this? Yes you do, or else they wouldn't have put it in the test. I wonder if every beginning teacher asks humself/gerself if she and her friends use to do the things their students do. I know I ask myself that question every day. Sometimes the answer is even yes. I know I won't be able to teach the rest of my life (respect to the people who can), but I do really enjoy it. Love, Crysta.
